Outcomes from 14 March 2018 Commission meeting
Below are the outcomes from the 14 March 2018 Commission meeting.
Indicative licence fees for 2018-19
The Commission agreed to the indicative licence fees for both current and ex licensees to be charged for 2018-19. Individual licensees will be advised of their 2018-19 licence fees once they become available.
Comcare will work with licensees to finalise licence fees payable for 2018-19 by 30 June 2018.
Licence compliance and performance model
The Commission endorsed an update to the Commission Regulatory Response Framework where Comcare observes multiple or sustained poor performance results against the Licensee Performance Standards and Measures. Where a licensee has failed to meet their targets for two consecutive quarters, the Commission agreed that further analysis and verification of licensees’ claims would be undertaken by Comcare on a risk based approach and reported to the Commission.
Annual meeting with licensees
The Commission held its annual meeting with licensees following the 14 March 2018 meeting to facilitate discussion on key areas of importance for both the licensees and Commission.
