Self insurance licences - John Holland and National Australia Bank
The Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Commission today considered five application for self-insurance licences under the Commonwealth's workers' compensation scheme.
Following consideration of the applications, the Commission granted self insurance licences under the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 to the five applicants: National Australia Bank Limited, National Wealth Management Services Limited, John Holland Group Pty Ltd, John Holland Pty Ltd and John Holland Rail Pty Ltd.
In reaching this decision the Commission was satisfied that each applicant met the requirements of the legislation in respect of the management of workers’ compensation claims and the standards set by the Commission for the rehabilitation and occupational health and safety of their employees.
