The SRCC has issued guidance for employers consulting on health and safety matters. Its purpose is to help employers discharge their responsibilities under the OHS Act.

Training for health and safety representatives (HSRs)

HSRs are required to undertake training which is accredited by the SRCC. This guidance provides details of: payment of training costs, timeframes for training of HSRs, training preferences of HSRs, training of deputy HSRs, dispute resolution and refresher training.
