About the Awards

The Safety Rehabilitation and Compensation Commission (SRCC) introduced its annual Safety Awards in 2001 to further the objective of achieving continuous improvement in injury and disease prevention.

The Awards are designed to reward and recognise excellence in workplace health and safety, rehabilitation and return to work achieved by employers and individuals covered under the Comcare scheme.

Now in their 10th year, these Awards are designed to showcase the sophisticated systems and innovative practices organisations are utilising to ensure all employees are safe at work.

Through a formal recognition process, organisations and individuals that have achieved excellence in their respective fields through the introduction and/or development or improvement of safety standards will be rewarded for their initiatives.
