Policy on licence applications during COVID-19 (News)

27 March 2020

The Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Commission (SRCC) agreed, via an out of session meeting on 24–25 March 2020, to issue a policy in relation to licence applications in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This decision was reviewed in May and June 2020 and again in July 2020. The SRCC decided as from 13 July 2020 to lift the total suspension of licence considerations, noting that each licence application consideration is considered on its merits and hence the impact of the pandemic can be considered on a case by case basis.
