SRCC

The Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Commission (SRCC) is a statutory body with regulatory functions relating to workers' compensation and an oversight role relating to work  health and safety (WHS).

The SRCC seeks improvement in WHS, rehabilitation and workers' compensation in the Commonwealth jurisdiction by:

  • setting targets to improve health and safety standards in the workplace
  • monitoring WHS, rehabilitation and compensation performance
  • providing advice to the Minister on issues related to improving WHS, rehabilitation and workers' compensation.

SRCC grants self-insurance licence

On 12 June 2014, the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Commission (SRCC) granted a self-insurance licence to DHL Supply Chain (Australia) Pty Limited under the Commonwealth workers’ compensation scheme. The licence will commence from 1 July 2014 and expire on 30 June 2016.
