Outcomes from 26 March 2026 SRCC meeting

The SRCC met on 26 March 2026 to consider governance and regulatory issues, and the quarter two performance reports of individual licensees.

Licensee prevention management system requirements

The SRCC endorsed documents to support the implementation of the ISO45001 certification or alignment assurance program. Members noted that Comcare will update the Licence Compliance and Performance Model (LCPM) to incorporate the certification and alignment assurance program and provide the updated LCPM to the Commission for endorsement at its June 2026 meeting.

Licence extension

The SRCC granted a self‑insurance licence extension to the Australian National University under section 105 of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988. The extension was approved for a period of four years.

Next meeting

The next meeting of the SRCC is scheduled for 18 June 2026, followed by a Licensee Engagement session on 19 June 2026.
