We maintain a list of current and former self-insured licensees, including whether the self-insured licensee is covered under the WHS Act.

Once granted a licence to self-insure, you must meet a wide range of requirements to ensure you are maintaining standards.

We set self-insurance licence conditions and monitor licensee compliance with these conditions.

If a problem is identified, we first notify you and let you know the issue needs to be resolved in a timely manner.

We have an established process for managing disputes when they arise.

If you would like to extend your SRC Act coverage, you will need to apply for a self-insurance licence extension.

Comcare has developed claims and rehabilitation system tools for you to use when undertaking a review, either as requested by the SRCC or for your own internal audit.

You can access a range of performance data and information on self-insured licensees.

A licensee is required to report information on matters that are potentially significant to the Comcare scheme.

Comcare provides training for different roles in the Comcare scheme on the learning management system, called Comcare LMS.
