Directions, instruments and notices explained

The SRC Act allows:

  • The Minister to issue directions to Comcare, licensees or the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Commission (SRCC). A compilation of Ministerial directions is available from the Federal Register of Legislation.
  • The SRCC to issue directions and guidelines to Comcare and licensees.
  • Gazette notices to be issued to alert people on the decisions and actions of the government and the SRCC.

They cover a range of topics, including self-insurance licensing, statutory rates for payments, and Ministerial declarations of scheme coverage.

Below is a list of guidelines and notices issued by the SRCC by year. For instruments and notices issued by Comcare please visit Comcare's website.
