At the meeting, the SRCC considered licence extension applications for two licensees; a licence variation request and the 2021-22 quarter two performance reports of licensees.
Licence extension applications
The SRCC considered licence extension applications from Cleanaway Operations Pty Ltd and Australian Postal Group (Australian Postal Corporation, StarTrack Express and StarTrack Retail).
The Commission agreed:
- to extend Cleanaway Operations Pty Ltd’s licence under section 105 of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 for eight years from 1 July 2022 until 30 June 2030; and
- to extend the licences for the Australian Postal Corporation, Star Track Express Pty Ltd and StarTrack Retail Pty Ltd under section 105 of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 for eight years from 1 July 2022 until 30 June 2030.
Licence variation
The Commission agreed to vary the commencement date of Telstra Limited’s licence to 31 December 2022, at the request of Telstra.
